Features

          Texas Calculatem shows a representation of the poker table, your position, as well as the positions of your opponents that are still in the hand, or folded. It will show a "Hand at the River" table. This table tells you what Texas Hold’Em hands are and are not possible for you and your opponents. For hands that are possible, a % chance of hitting them (by the river) is given. The percentages will be colored red if highly likely. You can use this data to see, at a glance, if there are any straight draws, flush draws, etc, and the likelihood of hitting them. Texas Calculatem™ will show you the cards dealt, your Texas Hold’Em hand odds, as well as a betting spectrum that will recommend the preferred betting strategy based on the strength of your hand.

Playing Style (Pre and Post Betting Advice)

          Texas Calculatem™ will give different advice based on your preferred playing style. For example, it can give advice on playing loose or aggressive.  It will also point out hands that you may or may not like to play based on your preferred method of play.  To change the advice you receive from Texas Calculatem™ based on your personal playing style, choose this option on the dashboard. You may also force Texas Calculatem™ to never advise you to play Texas Hold’Em hands in certain positions, unless they are in a certain top percentage.

Verdict

          Texas Calculatem was the first poker odds calculator available on the market and by far the most recognized brand today. It works seamlessly with the poker rooms, is well presented graphically , and is easy-to-use. As a basic poker odds calculator, it does exactly as you would expect. It is aimed more towards newer players as it offers advice that helps prevent mistakes beginners might usually make. Texas Calculatem is the cheapest on the market at $69.95 and offers good value for money based on that. However, taking the free poker room offer is not of good value unless you specifically want a very basic poker calculator. Their improved software, Calculatem Pro, is a much better option that also offers a free poker room offer.
