| Doyles Room - Review |
|
Doyles Room is endorsed by the legendary Doyle Brunson, who has won an impressive ten WSOP (World Series of Poker) bracelets. Doyles Room was launched in 2004 as a member of the Microgaming Poker Network. It has since left and later become a part of the Yatahay Poker Network. Doyles Room, unlike some, have always accepted U.S. players and since its start, has enjoyed a steadily increasing player base. One of the main reasons for its ever increasing growth are the extremely popular ‘Bounty Tournaments’, where players have a chance to play Brunson himself, under the screen name “TexDolly”; his son, Todd Brunson, Doyle Room’s poker pros Hoyt Corkins, Mike Caro, Men Nguyen and even the occasional celebrity such as Nicky Hilton and Pamela Anderson. As the name suggests, if a player manages to eliminate any of the special big name players, they win a very respectable reward.
Doyles Room is an outstanding online poker room. The software is brilliant and they offer a wide variety of games and tournaments catering to all bankrolls and levels of skill. For a site of its size, they offer a reasonably large number of poker varieties, such as Texas Hold’Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud, and H.O.R.S.E. all with decent action. Stakes range from the micro $0.02/$0.04 up to $100/$200 for both Limit and No-Limit games. The majority of the action for Fixed Limit Texas Hold’Em can be found at the $3/$6 stake level and below. As for No-Limit Texas Hold’Em, most of the action is mainly found at the $5/$10 stake level and below. While fans of H.O.R.S.E. and Pot Limit Omaha, will certainly be impressed with the action of the tables. |
