The consensus on internet poker forums was that the “Kaikey” was a fish. Well, this fish showed the doubters in July 2005 that he wasn’t a bad player after all. He beat 5618 others and won the World Series of Poker!
Immediately, with this one result, Hachem became the top earning poker player in the world.
The challenge for Hachem now is to prove his $7.5 million win was no fluke and go the distance again in a championship event somewhere in the world. But, even if he doesn’t, he can sleep easy in the knowledge he has won the biggest tournament in history.
